1. Important levels for telc German Language Examinations

telc A1 – Immigration of Spouses: suited for those who need to apply for a visa for the purpose of family reunification. Is your spouse currently in Germany and has elementary knowledge of German? Then our exam center is the right place to take the exam during your stay in Germany.

telc B1 – Naturlization: suited for those who need a working permit or need to apply for the German citizenship. It is recognized by government agencies as proof of sufficient language competence for a German citizenship application; naturalization and settlement. 

telc B2 – Training & Profession: suited for the professional recognition of medical staff (nurses, doctors); for those who need a working permit or for those who apply for a vocational training course. It is the best exam you can take for professional purposes.

telc C1 – Advanced for Profession & Studies: this exam contains general skills of the German language on a very advanced level. It is suited for those who need German within their social and professional lives or university applicants who need proof of sufficient language skills in order to study at a university in Germany. 

2. What is a telc certificate and why is it important?

telc is a language test provider which offers standardized tests for languages. These tests are based on the Common European Framework of References for Languages (CEFR). At bbw you can graduate from the German version of the telc language certificate. The scaled examinations allow you to participate in language tests which precisely determine your personal language competences. This means that when you pass the exam, you are getting an evaluation with an individual analysis of your knowledge. The evaluation lists your skills in reading, listening, speaking and writing. In this way, you get to know exactly which language level you have reached in the different fields.
telc language tests are available for different domains:
